Frequently Asked Questions

What time do things start?

Sunday school starts at 9 am and our worship service starts at 10 am.

How should I dress?

We want you to dress in whatever style makes you comfortable. You will see some people dressed up, but you will see a lot of blue jeans and t-shirts. It's just not a big deal at LCC how you dress to church.

What about my kids?

We have Sunday school for your children at 9 am.

All during the service we have nursery available downstairs that is clean and fully staffed. It is located downstairs behind our fellowship area.

We have Children's Church for school-age children up to 3rd grade. The children are dismissed right before we have our message each week. There will be an announcement for the children to be dismissed. We have great volunteers who lead our Children's Church. It is held in the fellowship area downstairs.

Will I be asked for money?

We do pass an offering plate but this is an opportunity for our members to support the work of the church here in Lancaster. You are welcome to give to the church, but you will not be singled out or expected to give.

What kind of church is this?

LCC is an undenominational Christian church. This simply means that we are a church with no ties to any higher denomination or body. We are independent and our local leaders make the decisions for the church. More importantly, we just want to be a Biblical church that carries out the mission that Jesus and the apostles spelled out in Scripture. We really seek to have Jesus as our true leader.
