Our Ministries

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful

stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

I Peter 4:10 NIV

At LCC, each of us is called to be a servant of God and of others wherever we are: in our homes, in our workplaces, in our daily routines. This is where we find great joy, and how we grow strong roots to become mature followers of Jesus. This is how we reach out to the folks around us to show them we love them. We have many different kinds of groups and teams where you can find great opportunities to belong, grow, learn, and serve.

CWS–Christian Women’s Service

First Thursdays at 7 pm

September- May

We are a network of women of all ages who desire to serve grieving families in our county and community. We provide comforting meals and a place to gather for families holding funerals, especially when they do not have a church home. We meet on the first Thursday of every month in the Fellowship Hall from September to May to pray, learn from and support one another.

Please click below to contact Penny Probasco, our CWS secretary, if you know someone in need of our help, if you’d like to belong to this ministry, or for more information about us.

SMALL GROUPS

What is a small group? It’s a small, potent mix of people who are intent on personal spiritual transformation–growing to become more and more like Jesus. Small groups are the heart and soul of our church, where spiritual growth occurs as well as encouragement, hope and help. It’s not just about gaining knowledge of the scriptures. It’s about finding the truth of who God is and then applying it to our daily lives. There’s always a place at the table for newcomers in all of our groups. Click below for more details.

CREATIVE TEAM

Our mission as a creative team is to use our God-given abilities to draw people into worshiping God with all the senses: sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch. We serve others by providing environments that engage people in meaningful worship. This happens on Sunday mornings as well as special events and celebrations.

MUSIC–singing, playing, writing

PRODUCTION–video, screen content, sound mixing, livestream hosting

ENVIRONMENTS–website content and maintenance, visual elements and illustrations, photography, artwork, event and celebration design/decor, facility design and maintenance.

HOSPITALITY TEAM

First impressions count. Our desire is to make every person feel special and welcome when they come to LCC worship each week, especially our guests. We volunteer on a rotating basis, so all team members have time to participate and enjoy the worship service. We’d love for you to join us in this vital ministry.
